Notes: to be honest, i'm not sure this went where i origonally meant for it to. i had a bit of writer's block though, and the progress came to a complete halt until i read okami_myrrhibis's review, where she asked if it was part of the avalon AU. i'll admit that it wasn't supposed to be. then i started going over avalon cannon in my head, trying to prove to myself that they weren't in the same universe and i discovered that it slid in pretty neatly--wether i wanted it to or not. so, "Judgement Call" has joined the avalon-verse and i have wrapped up another short fic.

sure. she's the rival of my god character from my RP days. she's evil and psychotic and generally not nice AT ALL. but the name rolls of the tongue well. (its pronounced ear-an for those of you who have looked at it and gone "WTF?") i use this handle everywhere, though its usually empress eerian sadow or a variant therein. if you see that handle around, its me.

and the funny thing is, i answer to it in real life. you can yell "hey eerian!" and i will respond just like you've yelled "hey jeni!". this will probably make meeting internet friends in real life easier.

stepping back and meditating with my stones. which is what two of the stones i carry to work with me every day are for. i also usually feel better when i listen to some soul-soothing music, which could be anything from sinatra to elton john (shut the fuck up) to walls of jericho. anger is actually easier for me to manage than most of my other "negative" emotional responses.

Bunny: 39. Sunstreaker spent lots of time at one particular carwash. He’s even made a friend. The old man who runs it. He doesn’t know how to deal when the old man eventually dies of old age. Everyone thinks it’s just because he lost his favourite carwash, but Sunstreaker is genuinely upset about losing his friend.
Summary: It should have surprised him more than it did that two warriors from two drastically different cultures could be so very similar.
Warnings: Tissues required. I cried several times while writing this.
Author’s Notes: thank gods this is finished. I’m happy with it, but I’m glad its done. It was really hard to have any desire to work while I was sick and I really didn’t want this particular piece anywhere near me the whole time. It is sad, though, but it isn’t angst for a change. Just your average, run of the mill, gonna cry kind of fic. Also, thanks to spotlight_noa for the beta.
